To those who think everything is pointless right now;

I’ve been where you are. I’ve been on the edge, those days when you feel absolutely nothing, you’ve been screwed over so many times it just doesn’t matter anymore. You’ve lost respect for everything, including yourself. You feel like a failure, there’s no point in doing anything, you feel like your on the edge of some cliff that drops to nowhere. You start to cut because you want to feel at least ONE thing, you begin to see yourself differently, everything hurts and you lose motivation. You feel like there’s no way out.

There is. I want you to know, that even though it doesn’t feel that way now, you need to lend yourself a helping hand and find people that make you feel good. Don’t let yourself down, worry about you, and only you. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. 

I consider myself very fortunate. My family is supportive, I wasn’t shoved into some psych ward, I wasn’t looked down upon. I have someone who kisses my scars and pulls me out of that dark place. I’m fortunate to have good friends. 

But for those who think they’ll never have it, you will. Stop and think, just have patience. Good things come to those who wait, and right now that’s all you can do. Self harm may feel like the best thing at the time, but it will never help you be that pretty or attractive person you want to be. You’re stuck with these scars for good. Yes, it symbolizes your battle, but it will be a constant reminder you lost the battle. Pick yourself up, just be happy, things all turn out in the end, it will all be ok. 

And shoutout to anyone going through this depression, I’m here for you, vent in my ask, mention me, message me, I’ll help you, and the best of luck to you. You may feel alone, but there’s alot of people that feel like that, shouldn’t that count for something?
